Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Please be on time for your appointments. Patients who are more than 10 minutes late may have their appointments canceled. If you must cancel an appointment, please give our office at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations and no-shows in violation of this policy are considered a breach of patient agreement and you may be referred elsewhere for further care.

Compliance with state regulations

This office complies with all rules and regulations promulgated by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, including those related to clean needle technique, proper handling and disposal of needles used in the practice of acupuncture, and the sanitation of acupuncture offices.

In Colorado, the practice of acupuncture is regulated by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. Questions concerning laws governing the practice of acupuncture can be addressed to the Director of the Division of Registrations in the Department of Regulatory Agencies:

You as the patient are entitled to receive a detailed invoice or receipt for treatment that includes therapeutic methods, techniques used, and the duration of services provided.

You as the patient are entitled to seek a second opinion from another healthcare professional, and you may terminate therapy at any time.

Sexual intimacy in a professional relationship is never appropriate and should be immediately reported to the Director of the Division of Registrations in the Department of Regulatory Agencies (see contact information above).

As a Licensed Acupuncturist, your provider is trained and experienced in the recommendation and application of the following adjunct therapies, as defined by traditional East Asian medical concepts:
